Easter in Guernsey: Activities for the Family
What’s not to love about spring in Guernsey? The daffodils, cherry blossom, and primroses are in full bloom, the birds are chirping, and the sun is shining signifying summer will soon be here. It’s a time of birth and regrowth, and suddenly everyone wants to be outdoors!
The local supermarkets may have been selling chocolate eggs and hot cross buns since February, but it’ll officially be time to enjoy them during the Easter weekend 19-22 April.
Sure has created a list of fun activities for the family to enjoy during this much anticipated long weekend.
“Let’s do Easter” at the Forest Parish Church
Saturday 20 April at 9.30am – 11am.
Messy crafts, edible crafts, refreshments, chocolate fountain, flower arrangements, make an Easter garden. Bring an adult with you.
Easter Egg Hunt at Forest Parish Church
Sunday 21 April after the 11am Easter Celebration Communion, there will be an Easter egg hunt for the children.
GSPCA Easter Tours
Wednesday 17to Saturday 20 April.
This Easter take the opportunity to meet the many animals who need homes. There will be quizzes and daily Easter egg hunts. Lots of fun for the family, plus you can adopt a pet.

Easter Eggstravaganza at Le Friquet Garden Centre
Saturday 20 April from 10am to 4pm.
Enjoy the Easter fun by participating in the huge Easter egg tombola, luxury Easter hamper raffle and Easter crafts.
Easter eggs can be donated and dropped off in advance to Cheshire Home.
All funds raised from the event will be donated to the Guernsey Cheshire Home, Ernie’s Angels and the Ivy Trust.

TrustFord Easter Car Scavenger Hunt
TrustFord Guernsey’s first car scavenger hunt will take place on Saturday 20 April.
This mobile hunt involves one car per team (maximum of seven people per team) and two hours to complete it.
Arrive from 1pm to start at 2pm.
Price £2 per adult and £1 per child.
There will be a bouncy castle, prizes and food included.
All money raised will go to the Cancer Research UK.

Northern Churches Working Together Easter Fun Day
Saturday 20 April from 12.30pm to 3.30pm.
Join the fun at DeLancey Park!
There’ll be a bouncy castle, crafts, egg hunt, market stalls, and food as well as attendance by the community police and fire service.
Wooden Spoon Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday 20 April from 11am to 1pm at the Peninsula Hotel.
This fundraising charity event is suitable for children from ages two to 10 years old.
Kids can enjoy games, an egg hunt, bouncy castles, and party princesses.
The egg hunt will commence at 11.30am.
Tickets are £5.
