Based at their busy yard at La Fontaine Vinery in St Sampson they are one of Guernsey's oldest established and most respected Stonemasons. Vaudin Stonemasons have over 25 years of experience in all aspects of the stone industry. They operate Guernsey's only full-time comprehensive stone works: fabricating, cutting and recycling for Guernsey's stone requirements. As a local independent company employing 18 full-time stonemasons, semi-skilled stonemasons, apprentices & management they are well-qualified to do so. They have 12 local stonemasons to sub-contract when undertaking large projects. They are contractors for all aspects of stonemasonry. Including old and new construction, repair and renovation, installation and fixing, rebuilds and insurance works, paving and landscaping, cladding and curtain walling, fireplaces and worktops, design and consultation, stone cutting and dressing, suppliers and wholesale. This also includes specialist works, some of which are: monumental masonry and letter cutting, demolition, cladding, church works, damp proofing, specialist cleaning and grit blasting.
They undertake works as Main Contractors (are used by the States of Guernsey) employing sub-contract architects, structural engineers, specifiers, specialist designers, scaffolders, carpenters, joiners, plumbers, electricians, decorators & plant operators.
A major part of their business is the supply of new, imported & salvaged stone, tools and ancillary materials & products. Also recycling stone from demolition & salvage. They supply other stonemasons, builders, architects, surveyors and the public.
