Guernsey Street Festival 2024

The Guernsey Street Festival is set to take over St Peter Port for two weeks from 20 July to 3 August 2024.

The annual festival which aims to “celebrate all forms of street performance” will feature musicians, puppeteers, actors, storytellers, dancers, fairies, and superheroes!

Some of the local artists already signed up to perform include singer Amelia Garn, Jazz vocalist Lydia Jane Pugh, classical pop duo Forever Tenors, funky brass band King Brasstards, and comedy string quartet Bowjangles.

Food, arts and crafts, jewellery and much more will also be on sale from various street stalls.

The official website for the Guernsey Street Festival says the not-for-profit organisers behind the event are “committed to the promotion of community spirit, the encouragement and showcasing of local talent, and celebration of visiting artists and street entertainers.”

It adds: “We aim to create a platform for performers and artists of all genres, skills and ages to promote themselves to the people of Guernsey and to promote Guernsey to tourists and visitors.”
