The Guernsey Literary Festival is a not-for-profit event planned, organised, and run by a team of volunteers.

Since its inception the festival has established itself as one of the biggest annual arts events in the Channel Islands. It takes place over two weeks in May and attracts a diverse selection of presenters, personalities, and writers.

A series of workshops, tea parties, and themed events aimed at children is also held parallel to the festival.
