How You Can Help People Impacted by The La Soufrière Volcano
by Karen Rollins Apr 14, 2021
At least 23,000 people in St Vincent have been forced to leave their homes because of ongoing eruptions at La Soufrière volcano.
Around a third of the island is currently uninhabitable, and constant volcanic explosions have polluted the air with ash while disrupting electricity and water supplies.
Appeals have been made by several local, regional and international organisations to assist Vincentians as they deal with this disaster.
Monetary donations and various non-perishable items, such as food, water, baby formula, diapers, and feminine products, are needed.
