The West Show is set to be held at the L’Eree Aerodrome on Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15 August 2024.  

This annual show is a joint effort by the parishes of St Pierre du Bois, St Saviour and Torteval. There will be a full programme of entertainment and activities along with a range of exhibitors showing off their best cattle, pigs, sheep, goats, and other animals. 

Doors opens at 10am each day and close at 11pm. Tickets are £8 for adults and £4 for juniors (entry is free for children under five). It costs £2 to park.

Below are some of the planned events (subject to change): 

Wednesday 14 August 

10am – Judging of livestock and animal classes 

11am – Beer tent opens 

1pm – Exhibit tent reopens 

1.45pm – K & H Falconry 

2.30pm – The Knights of Nottingham 

3.15pm – Lawnmower racing – sprints 

5.30pm – Vintage tractor drive 

7pm – Live music from Neon Fire and Stuck to the Ceiling

Thursday 15 August 

10.15am – Judging of Equine in Hand classes 

11am – Beer tent opens 

1pm – Presentation by St John Guernsey 

3.15pm – L’Assembllaie d’Guernesias 

6pm – Meat draw 

7pm – Live music from Last of the Light Brigade, Underdog, and Ruby Rouge

9pm – Auction of produce 

11pm – Beer tent closes
