Kombucha is a fermented tea drink which is said to have a range of health benefits.

The primary ingredients in kombucha are black or green tea, yeast, and sugar. These are mixed together and set aside for a week. In that time the fermentation process takes place, and acids and probiotic-rich bacteria develop along with a small amount of alcohol.
