Guernsey’s Tennerfest Food Festival 2019

From 1 October to 11 November, Guernsey’s Tennerfest Food Festival will be tempting one and all to sample the amazing menus on offer.

The annual Tennerfest has long been a delightful staple in Guernsey’s culinary calendar.

From fresh seafood to fish and chips, succulent meats, delicious cheeses, and yummy desserts, there’s something for everyone. Feel like branching out from local Anglo-French inspired cuisine? You can also find Italian, French, Chinese and Indian specialities during Tennerfest.

Tennerfest actually started out as a way for restaurants to attract customers during the low season; a three-course menu for £10 was a definite draw.  The ‘Fest’ has grown into a gastronomic celebration of the island’s amazing cuisine – and with amazing value for money to boot.

In 2017 over 200 restaurants across the Channel Islands took part. You can find fixed menus for £10, £12.50, £15, £17.50 and £20.
