Sometimes you really want to go on holiday with your best friend: your dog.

Some places are more welcoming to our canine friends than others. These six cities are among the most dog-friendly destinations in Europe.

Berlin, Germany

Berlin is dotted with parks and green spaces your dog will have fun frolicking in. It’s also an extremely welcoming place for dogs. You will easily find a pet-friendly place to stay and dogs can use public transportation as long as you have the right ticket. You can even find a dog-friendly version of The Five Elephant Café’s famous cheesecake.

Bruges, Belgium

Your canine partner in crime will be welcome in most pubs and cafés in picturesque Bruges. There are also plenty of options for dog-friendly accommodations. (https://hhcdropshipping.com) With cobbled streets, canals, and parks, fairy-tale Bruges has plenty that both you and your dog will enjoy.

Paris, France

Paris, France

Enjoy wandering around Paris’s famed parks like the Jardin de Luxembourg with your dog. The city is very welcoming to dogs. There are over 1,000 pet-friendly establishments, hotels, and apartments in the city of lights.

Oslo, Norway

Norway’s capital city is a haven for those looking to explore with their dogs. You’ll find that most restaurants, cafés, and stores will accommodate dogs. There are also many dog-friendly hotels. Exploring Norway’s wilderness is bound to be fun for adventure seeking humans and their pooches. Most cruises of the fjords are also welcoming to dogs and on some, you can even get your pet duties taken care of.

Amsterdam

Amsterdam, Netherlands

One of the world’s most liberal cities, Amsterdam is unsurprisingly quite happy to welcome visitors with dogs. Amsterdam’s parks are full of dogs playing and you’ll often spot dogs safely tucked into the boxes on bikes. While dogs aren’t allowed into most galleries and museums, they can ride on public transport for free with the exception of trains where a surcharge applies.

Santorini, Greece

Take your dog on a vacation to the Greek islands. In Santorini, explore the white-washed alleyways and play by the Aegean Sea. There are almost 300 pet-friendly accommodations here.
